Position Summary

The Brand Manager reports into the VP of Brand Strategy and will be responsible for supporting strategic brand plan development and the tactical execution of it. He/she will be focused on the goals of building brand equity and driving short and long-term commercial growth.

This senior position requires an experienced consumer-centric person who has both a solid marketing and analytical background. This is an exciting opportunity for someone interested in contributing to building a highly successful brand in an entrepreneurial/start-up environment.

Major Responsibilities / Accountabilities
  • Marketing Plan Development: Support the development of the annual Marketing Plan.

  • Marketing Plan Execution: Executes Marketing initiatives collaborating with external agencies and internal resources. Focuses primarily on consumer marketing however may also develop and manage some trade marketing initiatives. Collaborates with the salesforce periodically.

  • Product Innovation: Helps execute product innovation initiatives within the brand portfolio.

  • Analysis & Optimization: Lead the analysis and reporting of the performance of all marketing initiatives, leveraging insights, and constantly optimizing ROI.

  • Marketing Budget Management: Management and optimization of all Marketing expenditures.

Minimum Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent)

Experience / Background
  • At least 5 years of marketing experience at an alcoholic beverages company. Mustcurrently be at the Brand Manager level

  • Strong digital marketing acumen including social, search, display, email marketing, CRM, etc.

  • Experience managing the various dimensions of the ecommerce channel

  • Public relations plan and program management experience

  • Budget development and management experience

  • Must be based in the Chicago area
