Marc Bushala is a prolific entrepreneur with extensive experience in creating and building businesses throughout the United States and Europe in real estate, food and beverage, media, entertainment and marketing services sectors. From launching two music television channels in Eastern Europe with Sir Bob Geldof to owning and operating F&B and special event venues to launching successful spirits brands, Marc has a 30-year track record for creating and managing dynamic businesses. Marc was formally president and CEO of Angel Share Brands, LLC owner of Angel’s Envy Bourbon.
President & COO
Ryan Perry has an extensive global background in spirits, specifically American whiskey, which included leading the North American Whiskey strategy group at Diageo. In parallel, Ryan headed the Diageo Global Cask Council for the Western Hemisphere. In that role, he managed all new and used casks programs for Diageo’s bourbon, whiskey, scotch, rum and tequila platforms. Ryan has led over $215 million in aged whiskey transactions to global spirit holding companies, distilleries and high-growth brands. Additionally, Ryan has created more than 25 different spirits and is one of the most decorated Master Whiskey Blenders in North America.
VP of Brand Strategy
Wayne Hartunian has 15 years of strategic marketing experience, driving the growth of both highly successful market leading brands and incubation spirits brands. At Pernod Ricard, he was VP of marketing for its $500M+ whiskeys & cognac portfolio. In addition to several other brands, Wayne has the record of tenure for leading one of the most successful alcoholic beverage brands in the United States: Jameson. While there, he was responsible for more than tripling the volume and driving record brand equity performance, setting it up for the long-term success it continues to enjoy. Wayne also has brand management experience from other top-tier companies such as Unilever and Campbell Soup Company.
EVP Sales East
Pete Fernandez has 26 years of professional sales experience in the spirits industry. He has launched many national brands and has been a leader in both distribution and sales. With his unique and innovative sales and marketing strategies, Pete has become an expert in different segments of the liquor business. His excellent reputation in the distributor network has allowed him to excel and compete among major liquor companies and build brands, including Cruzan Rum and Angel’s Envy, to the point of acquisition.
VP Product Development
Casey Newman manages the operations business unit and new product development team for all brands owned by the Spirits Investment Partnership (SIP). His extensive spirits background covers everything from managing production for global spirits brands, such as Gallo’s New Amsterdam vodka and gin, as well as setting up world class distillation facilities. Casey’s true passion lies in new product development, including managing a team and lab that produces award-winning blends and formulations.
Sam’s career spans over 30 years in the spirits and wine industry with Bacardi USA, William Grant & Sons, Cruzan, Infinium Spirits and Mahalo Spirits. He was responsible for kicking off such notable brands as Sailor Jerry Rum, Hendrick’s Gin, Angel’s Envy, and Teeling Whiskey. Sam specializes in the 13 Western states and distributors that include Young’s Market, Southern Glazer’s and Breakthru Beverage, along with multiple regional wholesalers.
Sales Midwest, South
Ryan Forsyth has more than 20 years of spirit industry sales and management experience. Starting his career in 1997 at Glazer’s Distributors in San Antonio, Ryan then transitioned into a supplier role with Bacardi USA. He later became regional manager overseeing the company’s business portfolio for all channels in multiple states. In 2009, he partnered with Incubrands Spirits Group (now Mahalo Spirits Group) as VP of SW Division. There, he helped develop Angel’s Envy, Papa’s Pilar Rums and Suerte Tequilas.
Director of Investor Relations
Growing with SIP for the past 3 years, Samantha works directly with SIP’s C-suite executives, as well as serves as the main contact for marketing, sales and brand ambassadors. Her role focuses on creating a synergy within the company’s multiple spirits brands to develop messaging, maintain consistency and communicate with investors. With over 200 investing entities within SIP, Samantha enjoys working with a diverse and inspiring portfolio of not only brands but investors as well.
Holding a certified public accountant title with relevant managerial, corporate accounting and audit experience, Marc is a result-oriented professional with strong organizational and time management skills. Specializing in GAAP accounting, financial reporting/analysis and budgeting, Marc is a highly motivated and self-driven team leader with experience in the spirits industry (Anheuser-Busch) and leading teams with corporate/regional initiatives (McDonald’s Corporation).
