A Thoughtful Storage and Furniture Arrangement Allows Us to Offer a Design That Can Be Updated Over Time
We were commissioned to design this space early after the entire building was built. Our new program included wide living room and kitchen, home theater, a master bedroom - and the most important feature: a rooftop swimming pool.
Playboy Spirits is set to debut a compelling tequila portfolio named 3Hares in 2024, marking our entry into the dynamic tequila market. Our strategic approach centers on a collaboration with Gran Casa Centinela, a distinguished Mexican tequila producer renowned for its century-old traditions and unwavering dedication to quality craftsmanship.
Established in 1904 by Don José Hernandez, Gran Casa Centinela has cultivated a legacy of excellence, crafting successful tequila brands for nearly 120 years. Situated on a sprawling 2,000-acre farm in Jalisco, the Hernandez family meticulously tends to approximately 6 million agaves, thriving in the unique red clay soil at the region’s highest elevation. The distillery’s time-honored methods, including slow-roasting piñas in traditional brick ovens, yield a diverse range of exceptional tequilas that resonate with a wide audience.
Bolstering our partnership is Gran Casa Centinela’s impressive infrastructure: a substantial inventory of over 70,000 aged tequila barrels, robust production capabilities, established glass manufacturing relationships, in-house bottling facilities, and abundant agave fields, ensuring seamless supply continuity.
In a testament to this collaboration, Gran Casa Centinela has invested $10 million in Playboy Spirits. This commitment includes a $5 million cash equity injection and an additional $5 million contribution-in-kind, encompassing blanco and aged tequila inventory. This partnership positions Playboy Spirits at the forefront of the tequila market, poised to deliver an unparalleled range of premium products to discerning consumers.
